My favorite piece of technology

I like the technology. I always use this, even in this moment. The ones I most care about are my Smartphone, computer (laptop) and Play Station 4.

But, the most important for me is the smartphone, because in it you can do many things. Such as read a book, see a video, take a photo, listen music and etcetera.

The main reason because I love the smartphone is can talk with your friends in any moment.  With this, internet and a few seconds you can talk.

Generally, I use this for talk with my friends and organize the weekend. Also, I can talk with friends who live far. The last year, two friends went to Miami forever. But I haven’t loss the friendship with none of them.

I see the positive side of the technology’s effect, I feel its better.

Why did I choose this career?

I chose journalism because I like it but I don’t want to become a journalist when I was 16 years old. I was interested in law, much of my life I love it. But, when I was about 17 or 18 years I think on this, and I didn’t see myself as a lawyer.

Now, I am very happy with my choice, I like this career and this university. I love the subjects, and this semester is perfect. It has exceeded all my expectations.

When I finish my university career I would like to work in radio. Since I entered that has been my mentality. I still don’t decide if I will be a journalist of politics, sports and etcetera. But, I have about 3 years to choice this.

I am Diego Jesús Machuca Morales, I was born on August 26^th 1997, in the city of Santiago, Chile. Before the university, I studied all my life in Santiago Centro. My first school, on primary, was called San Antonio. Since 2010, on my secondary education, I went to Instituto Nacional.

I live with my family: my mom, my dad, two brothers and my sister. I love pets; I have three dogs and two tortoises.  I don’t spend a lot of time on my hobbies, but I like play Play Station (such as Fifa, WWE 2k17 and sometimes Call of Duty). Also, I like Latin-American music, such as Los Auténticos Decadentes, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and etcetera.  

Now, I study journalism at the Universidad de Chile, in Ñuñoa, Santiago. Later, I would like job in radio.
